Getting around the city

Where to stay
Most international patients stay in the northern districts near Cra. 50 and Cra. 53 (Alto Prado, Villa Country, El Prado), where international hotel chains and serviced apartments are a 5 to 15 minute ride from the clinic. Staying safe and comfortable
Stay in the northern districts of the city, where the clinic and the main hotels are located, and use ride-hailing apps instead of hailing cars on the street.
Check your government's current travel advice for Colombia before you book, and take out travel insurance that covers your trip dates.
Drink bottled or filtered water, and plan light meals for the first day after surgery.
Ask for your treatment plan, materials and total price in writing before you fly, and keep a digital copy of your X-rays and clinical notes.
Leave a buffer of at least 24 hours between your last appointment and your return flight, so any adjustment can be done before you leave.
Avoid diving, long sun exposure and alcohol during the healing days that follow oral surgery.
